Research
Work Packages
The research programme for MitoHealth is divided into six work packages. Each WP will have a responsible partner and several additional partners and further involve associated companies to fulfil the planned research for the programme.
Within the context of dietary lipids, proteins and peptides for improving human health, the partners of the consortium will contribute within areas of basic research to expand the knowledge on the interaction between nutrients, metabolic regulation, mitochondrial function and gene expression in addition to assess as document the safety of marine products. Clinical studies will be conducted to document in humans the metabolic effects of a dietary change.
